World of warcraft hunters black book

By Shane Fenham

World of Wacraft Hunters are the wild beast tamers in the game. They are excellent in all aspects of outdoor survival. Their skills in wow include ranged weapons specialization, using pets in combat, melee fighting ability, ability to set traps, assuming beast "aspects" to enhance agility and speed and and tracking ability.

1. Ranged fighting They are the most specialized class for ranged weapons which include use of up to 4 sting types that act as de-buffs on targets. And also shots like Arcane Shot Auto Shot and then Steady Shot.

2. Close combat Melee abilities. Hunters can do melee combat though not as proficiently as other tanking classes. It comes as an especially useful ability when the target cannot be shot at or if the pet can't assist due to it being stunned or incapacitated.

3. Pets are probably the most important part in their arsenal adding to their DPS (Damage Per Second) allowing them to dispatch adversaries quicker. They also act for the most part as tanks while the Hunter finishes off opponents with projectiles thus avoiding aggro (or the focus of enemies attack) which the pet absorbs instead.

4. Traps: Hunters have up to 5 traps at their disposal used for crowd control, and to mete out damage. The same kind of trap can be set up again after a 30 second cool down periods but a different kind can be set up right after. There are 4 main traps available to hunters:

Frost Trap - Slows enemies up to 60% in area where trap is set.

Freezing Trap - freezes approaching enemies.

Immolation Trap - Burns enemies over 15 sec period.

Explosive Trap - Explodes as enemy approaches causing fire damage.

5.Aspects for hunters are abilities which only hunters can tap into. They allow them to assume aspects of 7 different types of animals. Only one at a time can be active and are especially useful for the hunter depending on what kind of combat he or she is about to engage with. A skillful hunter will know just which ones to use or mix up when the need arises. The seven available hunter aspects are:

Aspect of the Monkey: This can increase the chance to dodge by 8%.

Aspect of the Hawk: Increases "ranged" attack by "x" amount depending on level.

- Aspect of the Cheetah: Can speed up the hunter speed by 30% but can also daze him for 4 seconds if suffering damage.

Aspect of the Beast: Allows hunters to become undetectable.

Aspect of the Pack: The hunter and his/her group assume the characteristics of a pack of cheetahs, increasing all their movement speeds by 30%. When a pack member takes damage, it will daze them for a 4 second period.

Aspect of the Wild: The Hunter and his group take on the characteristics of the wilderness, gaining +X resistance to Nature damage.

Aspect of the Viper: Regenerates mana equal to 55% of his intellect every 5 seconds

6. Hunters track 8 types of creatures or items in the game. Only one tracking "device" can be kept open at any time. Type of units they are able to track include: Beasts, Humanoids, Undead, Hidden, Elementals, Demons, Giants, and Dragonkin.

All the above abilities in this short world of warcraft hunter guide point to the hunter as being a powerful class if you like to play solo. In groups it is also very useful thanks to the aspects abilities which can benefit the whole group. All in all hunters are very popular thanks to having a pet which add to their DPS, and ranged weapon expertise that allow them to pick off enemies super fast allowing them to complete quest quickly as well as grinding quickly resulting with fast levelling. No wonder then, that many power levelling guides like to use a hunters to demonstrate how to get to level 70 as fast as possible.
